Generate API credentials

In order to create an API Credentials, you will need to ensure you have:

Log in to your Atlas↗ account. 
From the dashboard, click on the Credentials dropdown to expand.
Select Issuing API.
Click on Generate an API Credential button at the upper right corner of the window.
In the Select Encryption window, select you preferred method of API key generation.

Two available methods are:

View and Copy: The system would provide you with an API key and secret to copy to your clipboard. You may also download them in .csv format.

Encrypted File: This option provides additional security. You would be providing a public key that we’ll use to create an encrypted file. The file can then be downloaded.

Then, click Continue.
Continue with the steps by following the instructions that correspond to your selected encryption method.

If you selected View and Copy method, proceed to the guidelines.

Select an active service from the list, and then click Continue
Select an active Identity Profile from list, and then click Continue.
Enter a familiar name in the box, and then click Continue.
You have successfully generated an API Credential. Make sure to securely keep your API Key & Secret.

If you selected Encrypted File method, proceed to the guidelines.

Enter the public key that you have created in the box, and then click Continue.
Select an active service from the list, and then click Continue
Select an active Identity Profile from list, and then click Continue.
Enter a familiar name in the box, and then click Continue.
You have successfully generated an API Credential. Make sure to securely keep your API Key & Secret.
