- Verify a Domain
Overview
Domain Verification is the process of proving that you own or manage a domain before GlobalSign can issue an SSL/TLS certificate for it. This step helps ensure that certificates are only issued to trusted and authorized domain owners, protecting your organization and users from potential security risks. To request for a domain, please refer to this page.
Guidelines
-
Log in to Atlas portal.
-
Go to Certificates.
-
Click Domains.
-
Select the domain that you want to verify.
-
A modal window will display with different domain validation methods: DNS TXT, HTTP, and EMAIL. Select the one you want to use and follow the prompts to validate your domain with that method.
-
Once you have made the appropriate configurations, click Verify the domain. It may take several minutes for Atlas to show the domain has been activated.
-
You have successfully verified your domain.
WHAT'S NEXT? Once your domain is successfully verified, you can now request for a certificate. To request for a certificate, please refer to this page.
