Manage API Credentials
Revoke Credential

Log in to your Atlas account.

From the dashboard, click on the Credentials dropdown to expand and click on Issuing API.
- Hover over the active credential to reveal the ellipsis (three dots) in the upper‑right corner of the credential.
- Click the ellipsis (three dots) to display the available actions.
- Click on Revoke Credential.
- Click Yes, delete and revoke to continue.
WARNING: Ensure that this is the credential you intend to revoke. Revoking a credential will permanently delete your API Key and Secret. Once removed, it will be disabled and will be removed from your account. This action cannot be undone. - You have successfully removed your API Credential.
View/Change Associations

Log in to your Atlas account.

From the dashboard, click on the Credentials dropdown to expand and click on Issuing API.
- Hover over the active credential to reveal the ellipsis (three dots) in the upper‑right corner of the credential.
- Click the ellipsis (three dots) to display the available actions.
- Click on View/Change Associations.
- In Associated Service & Identity window, the current service and Identity Profile linked to the credential will be displayed. Click on Change this service to continue.
- Select the new Service that you like to link the credential, and then click Continue.
- Select the new Identity Profile that you'd like to link the credential, and then click Continue.
- You have successfully updated your API Credential.
WHAT'S NEXT: After generating your API Credentials, you can now create an mTLS Certificate.
